TOKYO FASHION WEEK - SPRING SUMMER 2012

Es inspirador y reconfortante ver la Semana del Japón. La moda no ha perdido su creatividad en estos tiempos tan difíciles. El estilo individual se muestran durante toda la Semana de la Moda de Tokio, brillaban con un brillo que era difícil de negar. Todas las colecciones dan una impresión muy clara de que los diseñadores estaban cada unoposeído por una visión completamente única para la moda. Cada show perfectamente representada la visión, desde la música hasta el lugar de la iluminación. Y, sin embargo, un tema muy común fue evidente a lo largo de todas las colecciones. Un tema de avanzar, mientras que al mismo tiempo caer en la rica herencia japonesa y un fuerte sentido de la estética clásica, con la esperanza de crear un hermoso futuro.

It is inspiring and heart warming to see Japan Fashion Week hasn’t lost its creative edge in these very difficult times, as Danny and David Roberts report back on their recent trip to Tokyo: “The individual style displayed during Tokyo Fashion Week shone with a brilliance that was hard to deny. All of the collections gave the very distinct impressions that the designers were each possessed with a completely unique vision for fashion. Each show perfectly represented that vision, from the music to the venue to the lighting. And yet, a very common theme was evident throughout all of the collections. A theme of moving forward, while at the same time falling back on the rich Japanese heritage and strong classic sense of aesthetic in the hopes of creating a beautiful future.
